I'm trying to integrate my reciently assembled Dishnetwork receiver (2700)
with the IR blaster on my replay tv and none of the listed codes seem to work.

I've tried the following codes on replay TV:

0775 0159 0269 0280

I've tried hanging the mini emitter all around the front of the 2700 receiver
although I think the infared receiver looks to be just to the left of the
power LED recessed into the right hand side of the front panel.

Any suggestions?

0775 works fine on all E* (expect DP) receivers I have set-up.

This next part doesn't apply to the 2700, but I want to point out for others
who have UHF capable units, that this applies to remote address code 1.

The Replay IR blaster has to go right over the thing that looks like a CLEAR LED to the left of the Power LED. But because that's recessed on a 2700 in a concave area, it doesn't stick well. Also, because the 2700's IR receiver is not shielded by the usual red plastic, it gets swamped by room light easily in my experience. I had the same problem of maybe 10% working, 90% Replay not changing the channel (the 2700 not receiving ALL of the numbers) until I covered most of that concave LED opening with cardboard, with the Replay IR blaster mounted INSIDE the cardboard. The side of the concave opening that has the power LED I left uncovered. This is enough of an opening that the original DISH remote (or a Universal remote, or the Replay Remote in "CATV" mode if you programmed the CATV button for Dish) can still control the box directly. This brought the reliability up to about 80%. I then put BOTH IR blasters inside the cardboard cover. Finally, I tried code 8775 and then 9775 (the 8 or 9 prefixes instead of 0 - e.g. 9775 instead of 0775). These add some delay to the Replay IR blaster, which lets the 2700 work more reliably. For automatic recording, and for channel changing "live" by typing in the channel numbers, it's now 99% OK. No worse than my Dish 5000's IR blaster controlling my VCR. For channel surfing via the Replay up/down channel buttons, its less reliable. The replay does NOT send a "channel up" when you go from channel 208 to 209 with the "up" button. It sends the entire "209" sequence. If you keep pressing up up up ... it sends partial sequences and you either don't get the right channel at all or get into a non- subscribed channel. Then you have to use the original remote to send a REAL "up" or "down" sequence. With the cardboard cover and 9775 code, I'm happy. It's not quite 100% but reliable enough. Until I did this, though, I was ready to return the replay.
