When you pack a Computer for delivery to the home, there are two things you
always include: The "Read Me First" leaflet, and the "Bill of Materials".
In fact, the Read Me First document always tells you to find the Bill of
Materials, and the Bill of Materials always lists the Read Me First
document.

But if you want to have some fun with a group of people who never heard
about Russell, start the discussion about whether the Bill of Materials
should list itself or not.

Laconic2, as always, keeps the CDT a scintillating barrel of laughs.

But if the BoM does NOT list itself, then what is it doing in my box?

Glad you like it.

I think the BoM should list everything in the box, except for those things
that are already listed by something in the box.

Laconic2:

Since the string `Bill of Materials' is NOT _the_ Bill of Materials
document, I guess we wouldn't break any laws if it were included, nor
would we be derelict if we omitted it.

Congrats, sir, we both win.

This all rather silly, of course, which is why I like it,
