in here back this last year and then posted via
the faq is now 404ed, Does anyone know a site url
where the Kazaa LITE exe would be hosted so I could
add an updated url in the faq?

They offer a kazaa lite download page, although they do not really look
like an official kazaa lite website... Maybe check the downloaded file
with an anti virus program. That's what I'd do...

kaaza lite no longer puts out newer versions! They have discontinued their
upgrades and now a slew of copiers are selling "updated" versions of the
software, plus all the versions are the same anyways.

I posted Kazaa LITE" and YES both are music mp3
browsers but both are big time difernt places and things.
I think Iv pointed this out onetime before?

but like garfield said check the downloaded file with an

creators made just they changed the version number to fool you.

Kazaa Lite was a bootlegged version of Kazaa without all the spy /
adware. Kazaa sent (and are probably still sending) cease and desist
orders to any site hosting the Kazaa Lite program, so it's pretty much
impossible to find it these days.
There something deeply ironic in the idea of the company that has
allowed copyright infringement to take place on a global scale, taking
someone to court for copyright infringement...

Deeply ironic is when Pepsi soda co. grabs
the little 11y/o girl that got busted for d/l-ing
mp3`s and makes a big time TV add saying:

why don`t they attack something that matters
like the email spam thing, there is alot copyright
infringement with in all of that spam out there,
not to say abunch of other BS things about it too.
my thoughts are they could get some good court
cases that way , They need to pinch the places
on the net/usenet/exta where it does matter....

for kazaa lite & download it. i guarantee you'll find it. then uninstall
whatever you used to download it, do a spyware scan & you're ready to go.
