Hallo,
hab versucht das BIOS upzudaten, das flash tool sagte aber " Flash
memory type is unknown or the flash memory is on motherboard "
und nur ESC möglich zu drücken, und zwar gleich EXIT :P
anscheind onboard Promise ATA-100 nicht updatebar :-((
moechte auf 48-bit updaten.
Hat jemand schonmal erfolgreich versucht upzudaten?

Versuche doch mal das aller neuste flash tool runterzuladen und es damit zu
flashen! (hatte mal das gleiche problem)

Jo aber man braucht immer das möglichst aktuellste flahtool, weil sonst das
bios nicht richtig erkannt wird, glaubs mir ;)

es gibt keine Version für flash tool von promise, mein PTIFLASH.EXE

Also ich meinte eigentlich das Flashtool von Asus!
Es gibt nämlich manche Biosversionen (ich mein auch ein aktuelles(vielleicht
beta)) wo dier Promisecontroler auch upgedated wird!
so habe ich das nämlich gemacht
erst das neueste bios und flashtool runtergeladen (von asus)
dann das draufgespielt und danach wars ok (man sieht beim booten auch an der
anzeige vom Promisecontroller, dass sich da was getan hatte)

oh ok, 1010AVU.01B ist neuestes, aber kannst du ins Windows rein ?
komisch....bei mir will es nicht, ich muss die 48-Bit Platte(160GB
samsung) auf normale master/slave anschliessen, auf diese promise will
