Rymer's Ramblings 28 May '98

[Mr P.R.]

Kim and Steve move out of HF. Chris is on hand to check Kim only takes her
own property. Roy and Seth assist, but Kim has to pay cash to Chris for
using them in Home Farm time. Chris winds up Steve so much that he nearly
punches him.

At the Tea Rooms, Betty is left in sole charge as Alice is sick and Kathy
stays at home again.

Terry arrives at the cottage looking for Will. Marlon think's he's left
already. More strange washing line goings on - Marlon's Chef gear is on
Terry's line and Terry's underwear is, well, missing.

At HF, Tara arrives to see Kim off. She apologises for not over-ruling
Chris. Kim asks her to take good care of the farm. Again, she tells Chris
she will be back at HF: "Over my dead body" he says, "You never know"...
(Chris looks a little uncomfortable...). She also reminds Chris that as Tara
owns 60%, he is no nearer owning HF!

At the Tea Rooms, Betty is not coping well on her own.
Mandy thinks over a business idea - asking bereaved relatives for the
deceased clothes! As Betty can't serve them, Lisa & Mandy head for the
Woolie.

Assorted denizens watch K&S move into Steve's cottage.

RUGBY MATCH
Tara is the local celeb blowing the whistle (I presume) "Good PR for HF" she
tells Chris. Will is late for the match, they start without him. And lose.
When he appears too late, Dean attacks him. Terry stops the fight, but tells
Will he has had enough of letting him and the team down.

WOOLIE
K&S go to the Woolie for a drink to thank Seth & Roy for helping with the
move. Alan refuses to serve Steve at first but Kim talks him 'round. Mandy
asks Kim if she can buy any excess frocks to sell on her stall... Kim
politely declines, she's not THAT desperate.

Betty IS desperate, she persuades Kathy to come in. Alice is left Home
Alone.

Steve suggests they move, but Kim says no. She will continue to run the Stud
farm with Tara and until he finds a job, Steve can look after James.

Biff drives Tara and Her Gentleman Friend back home. Biff makes sure he
leaves the car before getting a chance to fondle her. Biff is a little sulky
after being referred to as "the hired help"

Alice has gone missing. Kim helps search for her and is the one who keeps a
cool head in the situation.

Alice turns up at the Garage but is just caught by Lisa before she falls
into Zak's pit. Lisa and Mandy accuse Kathy of being a bad guardian... Kathy
agrees and gives Alice a big hug, apologising for shouting at her. Kim tries
to stress that Kathy needs help looking after Alice.

From the road, Tara sees some suspicious characters in the woods... Before
Biff can stop her, she's off to catch them! Catch them she does - Dingle
and Son - who are then told that they may lose their tenancy....
