Hi,
I have just completed my latest book on trading psychology titled
" How To Become A Successful Trader. The Trading Personality Profile: Your  Key To Maximizing Your Profit With Any System." This book takes a unique and exciting look into the world of trading psychology and offers practical strategies for improvement to traders, investors, companies and trading firms. It takes an in-depth look into the mind of a trader and the contributing factors in making faulty decisions that cause traders to lose money. In addition to offering traders practical tools to determine their weaknesses and strengths, it also will help to determine whether a trader is best suited to choose a mechanical system or a discretionary methodology. It also provides methods in which to draw upon the positive aspects of your personality while diminishing the negative traits that are hindering your trades. This book will educate you about the components of trading psychology that could harm trading performance despite a sound and profitable trading system.

" How To Become A Successful Trader" offers an exciting tool for traders, investors, hedge fund managers, and firm owners to maximize their trading performance. You gain a deeper understanding about how psychology could be negatively impacting your trading performance while at the same time learning how to enhance the positive forces of your psychology to create a winning career. With the knowledge of your TPP, you are able to decide which method of trading; either Discretionary System or a Mechanical System is best suited to your specific personality traits. Furthermore, based on TPP one is able to customize strategies to make them more compatible with your own personality strengths and weaknesses, which could certainly enhance performance. Trading like any other endeavor requires a set of proper personality traits for maximum performance. This book provides a road map and selection criterion for mutual funds, banks, hedge fund mangers and trading firms on how to choose a more effective trader for their firm. I utilize a scientific research in dealing with trading psychology. My professional experience in trading and dealing with many traders whom I have trained as well as extensive research on psychology provided the unique and necessary insight for writing this book.

You can purchase the book from Amazon.com or Barnes&Noble.com or just call 1-877-823-9235.  I'd love to hear your feedback on the book.

Best Regards,
Ned Gandevani, Ph.D.

Why do you make such a negative comment ?

There is nothing misleading about what has been stated by the author as one's personal psychology and attitude towards trading will have more impact on their success than possibly any other decision they make.

Maybe you should read the book then give us an informed review as opposed to a mindless criticism.

Henry,
You're wasting your time talking to closed minded people. They can't conceive or even visualize that IT IS possible to make awsome returns on directional trades. I don't know this guy from adam nor have read his books about the phsycology of trading, but I bet you he's dedicated a large portion of his life studying the science and art of trading. Is there something wrong with that?? Does it mean you're a crook if you make terrific returns and being consistent?? What nonsense is this. His dedication and approach to trading reminds me of my own path to find the TRUTH about the inner works of the market and knowing that ANYTHING is possible, IF you put your heart and soul to it. No one said this business is easy. It's anything BUT. However, the day I wake up and have no burning desire to make myself a more consistent trader, is the day I'm gonna QUIT this business.

I know a man who was a student of Dr. Gandevani. During that time, he
never told me that Ned was a charlatan, a crook, or anything like
that. His comments about him were always positive. I know little
about Dr. Gandevani's work, other than what my friend showed me. But
I have no reason to believe he is a crook or anything close to it.

Why is it that invariably, some nitwit shows up on these groups or in
a chatroom and starts flaming?

You may question, as I do, the author's claims. Whatever he sells,
likely does not work in real life, I agree. You may question his
peddling his stuff in this newsgroup. I also agree that such spam
should be kept out of here. You cannot, however, call the man a
crook. He's spelling out exactly what his snake oil is, and it's up
to you to buy or not. A misleading pitch, probably, but not theft.

Caveat emptor!

Show me hard document that he makes even 2% per month.
All I know is that all the past performance on his web site are fake.
In one day he lost $17000 of my money while at the same time posted a fantastick gain for the same day on his web site.
You judge for yourself

I agree with you that this guy's posted performance may be too good to be true. However, If what you're saying is true, you would think we would have seen by now a tremendous amount of complaints from other people who've used his service and I haven't seen that at all. In addition, the CFTC by now would have stopped this guy from posting fake results. Also, why does he offer a free trial period with some money back guarantee?? Unless you can show us solid proof (signing up for the service, statements etc...) that you really lost that much with this service, you could be just another vendor trying to flame your competition.

In one day you lost $17,000... was this a managed fund ? I am curious as to how "he" lost your money.

That's the hallmark of being a successful trader: when you loose, it's Other
