I wrote an AddIn for Excel and used the event BeforeClose to store some
Settings.
This AddIn worked fine for all Configurations except Excel 97 and Window 95.
On this Workstation I get no BeforeClose Event . (with the same AddIn )

Can anybody give me an tip how to solve that problem ( without changing the
Versions !!!)

This was a problem in the original release of Excel 2000. I believe it was
fixed in SR1. The workaround was to use a sub named Auto_Close in the
addin.

This was a problem for the first release of Excel 2000 that SR-1 fixed
(http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q248/1/72.ASP). I do not
recall that it was a problem in Excel 97 but I gather you're having it
anyway<g>. You'll have to create a Sub Auto_Close in the regular module and
put your closing code there.

It's a known bug. Use Sub Auto_Close() instead.
