IMAP: 'Unrecognized internal error: 0x800cce09'

There are two emails in my inbox that I can't seem to view,
not even their headers. Using Eudora, Outlook Express or
Netscape all give me the result:

Could not download new messages from the IMAP server. Server
Response: 'Unrecognized internal error: 0x800cce09'

MS Knowledgebase has nothing on this. My search on
groups.google.com shows that at least one other person is
having the same problem, but no details.

Does anyone know how I can see what these emails are, or how
to get the error to go away?

Ok, I connected to the Exchange server using POP3 and was able
to download the two messages that were previously inaccessible
via IMAP. Their headers indeed look strange, but the content was
just HTML.

Here are the headers of one of the messages (I have edited the
IPs, host names and emails). I suspect the difficulty is due to
the "content-xxx" headers interspersed with the Received
headers. Anyway, the disclaimer is that this is how the message
looked when it came down via POP3 in Netscape (I can't say for
sure what it came in to the SMTP server as). I did also notice
the "X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft Exchange V6.0.4417.0"
message. I admit ignorance as to what the "current" versions
are.
