Greetings,

I have the SB Live Value card, and I'm wondering if there's a way to reverse
stereo-output (both front and rear) in software, somehow. If not, could this
be added to new drivers? It'd be very nice, as I have to switch every now
and then, since my TV is in the opposite side of the room, and when I watch
movies, well, you get the picture. :)

Regards,

Patrik,
Thanks for the suggestion. This option is not currently available but
could possibly be implemented with drivers.

Sweet. :) Would it be possible with swapping which output would be front and
rear as well? Since it's rather annoying to have to crawl under the desk and
fiddle with the cables. (Yes, I AM lazy:)

Try AudioSphere (http://www.svet-soft.com). It's a very handy volume controller
and it has the "reverse stereo" option.

I too would love to have the option to reverse the stereo, because of the
constraints of the furniture I use, the cable to the right channel speaker
is too short to put it on the right side of my desk(yes the computer case
must be placed on the left side) so I have it on the left side of my desk
and then the left channel speaker is daisy chained to the right speaker and
placed on the right side of my desk. I could try to find a cable extender
to solve my problem but I would rather flip a checkbox on my computer
instead.

Hi there Michael. I have been looking for the Live! Drive Bay add-on for my
X-Gamer and have been able to find out nothing. Neither on your website or
anywhere else. The only mention has been on newsgroups and I have been
looking to buy this gadget for my X-gamer.
1. will it work with the x-gamer?
2. where can i buy it if it does?
3. why is it that there is NO info on this product on any of the CL
websites.
Thank you for your time.

Oh, yes. I second that. I often need to swap my front and rear speakers.
Being able to do it in software would be very nice.

Kerim,
Information that I've gathered is that nothing has been finalized. I
would be willing to guess that it will be offered sometime in the first
quarter of next year. Please keep in mind that nothing is final and that my
guess could prove completely inaccurate.
