I am using IE6 and it says provided by AT&T at the top, I
don't use AT&T anymore. Can I edit this?

This method requires you to edit the registry. Only do so
if you feel you are capable of doing so without any
problems. If you edit the wrong thing it can cause your
computer not to repsond or function properly.

If you decide to edit the registry, please follow these
instructions to the 'T':
These instructions are for Windows 98, but may work with
other OS

Click START|RUN Type regedit, click OK.
Click REGISTRY|EXPORT Give the file a name that you can
remember (I use the date in some form), select a folder
location to save it to. Click SAVE. This will serve as a
backup REGISTRY file in the event that your computer does
not respond properly after editing.

Now, click the + next to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Click the + next to SOFTWARE
Click the + next to MICROSOFT
Click the + next to INTERNET EXPLORER
Click the FOLDER called MAIN
Scroll down the RIGHT window until you find "Window
Title", right click that name and select MODIFY.
In the bottom window that is highlighted (where it
says "Microsoft Internet Explorer Provided By AT&T")
change that to what you want. It doesn't have to say
Microsoft Internet Explorer in case you were wondering,
it's just a title. Mine says "Microsoft Internet Explorer
Provided By James Hanna", so you can call it what you want.
Click OK when you have changed it.
Click REGISTRY|EXIT when done.
With this change you shouldn't have to reboot your
computer, but if you start IE and it didn't change then
you should, plus you will have to edit another section of
the REGISTRY.
Follow the above instructions (don't re-backup if you
don't want to) to get the registry. Click the + next to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER, then do the same as before to find the
MAIN folder under Internet Explorer. You shouldn't have
to, but if the Window Title listed there is different, you
will need to modify it, as you did the other one.

If the computer seems to not work properly after these
changes, go back to the registry and click REGISTRY|IMPORT
to change it back. This will not affect the operation of
the computer in any way, but if you change the wrong thing
it will.
