Hello fellow jumpers and DZ operators. Im posting this in reguards to a service
available to All DZ's. I recently was approached to take part in a advertising
campain directed at promoting DZ's to represent this 1-800 Skyride. After
speaking with a representative on the phone it sounded like a deal worth giving
a try. The way it was explained was that they would bring us students and we
would honor thier certificates and get paid through thier service. Well the
reality is that they are charging more to the students than they would pay if
they were to call us direct or find us via internet and we the dropzones are
setteling for a reduction in our normall fees in hopes that we can achieve more
volume from other advertising sources that they persue. The Fact is that every
student they bring you is $80.00 to $100.00 dollars per student profit for
them. This is terrible to our customers to pay and for us to loose by them
simply being the middleman in this online, search engine scheme they are
offering. I have told this service they are a discrace to the industry and i
hope you will follow in my lead to not offer this scam to our future customers.
