I have had a Capital One Visa for 3 months. So far I have had charges post
twice to my account, wrong ammount post to my account. So far they have been
repaired but something is up. They tell me the same numbers I have but my
amount available is 0 and no one knows why. I will updated this post.

I found out that even when charges post they can be on hold at the same time
and effect your accessable credit twice.

Hey buddy, you better close that account, you don't want to do business
with this company... Here's one previous post, there's been plenty of bad
things said about this company from lots of people but this is all I have
on record:

In one month time I was charged an annual fee which resulted in an over
limit fee and because of the high minimum payment required, a late fee, not
to mention an outrageous interest rate (which was just recently raised).
And without knowing it, the following month they sent me to a credit
collector. Suddenly my account was not only over the limit and without
resolve (because of their fees) but I was also having my credit history
threatened..!

I could understand this reaction from Capital One IF I was a credit risk or
was close to bankruptcy but the fact was/is I have a sound credit history
with income to sustain it... I was going through a finical slump, everyone
has them, cash flow would improve but Capital One's customer service reps
wouldn't help me. I told them I would soon be able to bring my account
current, I even asked if they wanted to keep me as a customer because I was
considering closing my account but on more than one occasion all I received
was a blatantly rude "so what" attitude.

This was the only time I ever called Capital One, I had no need to talk to
them before this but what a bad experience it was... It seems as long as I
spent money with them, making a minimum payments and racking up interest
charges, everything was okay but as soon as this business relationship
tipped more in their favor, Capital One took the opportunity to rip me off
while treating me like crap doing it.

Since, I've paid these jerks off, they still got away with charging me one
last late fee, apparently they have to have your check in five days before
their due date... I even had to estimate interest on my last remaining 20
dollar balance ten days in advance before I could close my account.
Capital One took me for every extra penny they could take, I don't know how
else to compare it except that doing business with them was a lot like
getting ripped off.

This example of Capital One's lame "customer service" has proven to me that
certain banks care only about potential business and increasing debt to
their customers. Companies like Capital One are practicing low handed
methods of enslavement, taking advantage of and stealing from consumers who
have either fallen onto hard times or are just trying to pay their debts
off. People should be protected from this kind of financial abuse, banks
should be forced onto a fair playing field- credit card companies make
enough money from loosely regulated interest rates, let alone the
additional fees they get away with charging.

I'm taking this complaint to higher ground... If you'll join me, send an
email to your congressman or local state legislator, make a difference..!

Great idea, maybe Capital One will take notice...but I doubt it.
