Hello evrybody,

It seems the first portable player for MP3s will go out in Europe soon. It's
called MPMAN.
Anyone have more infos about that product ?

What does it use like physical support? CD-Rom with MP3 files on it ?
Something else ?

Here is the page where they talk about the MPMAN (but just a few lines)
http://www.dekoning.nl/liveradio/

Thanks !

From what I gathered reading about this product:
You download .MP3s to the unit with a parallel cable from your PC.
It only has the memory for a few songs at full quality.
It can also be used like a portable storgage device since you can transfer
any files to and from it. Not just .MP3s.

So it looks like those of you with hundreds of .MP3s on one CDR will have to
keep waiting.
