Mollys meanderings 4/3/98

Apologies for lateness, been to the dentist....
Robert asks Sarah where Jack is, cos his bed hasn't been slept in.
Rachel is talking to an unseen someone....
Sarah turns up at Rachels, shouting the odds and looking for Jack. He
doesn't seem to be there and Rachel looks down her snubby little nose at
Sarah and calls her pathetic.
Jack has actually spent the night at Marlon and Biffs. Marlon gives Jack
advice on women (?!) He advocates a separation and says it works for him
every time.
Vic comes in to talk to Biff. He tells Biff Kelly has moved into Home
Farm with Chris Tate and asks Biff to have a quiet word (who with?) Biff
doesn't want anything to do with it.
Butch has found a small bra in Paddys car. As Zak says, it can't be
Mandys cos she wwouldn't get one of hers in that little thing. They
decide Paddys playing away from home and try to kill him. He thinks it's
because of his snoring and apologises. Mandy tells Zak it's hers and
part of her new business, seling lingerie. Butch asks to see the
catalogue.
Viv makes up a bag of Kellys stuff. She says kelly has made her
decision. Vic loses it and goes off to kill Chris.
Vic bursts into Chris's office and starts to kill him. (Lots of killing
this evening). Kelly stands up for Chris and Vic backs off.
Kathy asks Sam how his reading is going but he tells her to get lost cos
his dad's teaching him now.
Lyn and Heather go to visit old Outhwaite but his bed is empty and he's
nowhere to be found...
Kelly tells Vic she's not his baby any more, and she doesn't need him.
She tells him it was all her doing, that she chased Chris, not the other
way round. Vic asks her if she loves him, but she won't say. Vic pushes
and she throws one of her cute little tantrums and tells him he can take
it or leave it.
Vic apologises to Chris.
Outhwaite has been moved into the TV room and is arguing with some poor
old bat about the TV remote. He gives quote of the night "Give us them
controls or I'll set fire to yer wig"
Jan, Ned and Roy are waiting for Jan's hearing. She goes in but Ned
won't hug her for luck.
Robert and Whatsisname are playing Hide & Seek with Spot the dog (?).
Jack comes in and Robert tells him about what Sarah did this morning at
Rachels.
Jack tears Sarah off a strip about this morning and tells her where he
really was. She says she can't trust him, but he wants to be her friend.
He will try harder if she will.
Heather sens Lyn away from the room so she can talk to Outhwaite alone.
She tells him he is a stubborn old git and he says she was a tart. He
won't come home with her and she doesn't want him to anyway. He wants to
go hom, but he hasn't got one. The Sister is trying to get him into a
nursing home.
Ned and Roy have a raw. Roy accuses Ned of not wanting Jan back. Ned
agrees, he doesn't want her.
Butch and Zak are teaching Sam to read Mandy's lingerie catalogue. He's
got as far as fishnet stockings. Sam says Kathys a better teacher
because she smells nicer.
Tony witters a bit about Rachels time keeping, activity centre, old army
mates, punctuality, the army, probation centre, drone, drone drone...
Rachel tells Kathy about Sarah, but Kathy isn't that sympathetic.
Marlon teases Vic in the wine bar about Kelly and Chris. Vic loses the
plot completely and tries to kill Marlon. Vic shouts abuse at people and
storms out of the wine bar.
Roy and Ned are rowing again. Ned says he's had a hell of a year and has
reached the end of his tether. He can't take any more, and he's fed up
of being the husband of a nutter. He thinks people talk about him in the
street. he doesn't think jan should be allowed out because "She IS nuts.
Hospitals the best place for her".
Roll credits, music, jolly Granada announcer annouces The Bill in half
and hour....

A real gem, on par with the 'goosegog' line from last year.

Funny as it was, it was perhaps a little out of character? Or am I just
being picky?
