Jack is trying to help Sarah with some heavy lefting. She gets stroppy
and tells him she doesn't need him, she can manage fine on her own.

Emma Cairns is still whingeing about Delilah the horse, she says she'll
get a part time job. Tony gets cross and tells her the horse will have
to go. becky suggests he should get as tough as that with Chris Tate
over the probabtion service issue.

Mandy is having second thoughts about selling kinky knickers. Paddy
subtly talks her into it by saying "Oh well, if you're not up to it. I'm
mean, you've never done anything like that before, you're bound to fall
flat on your face".

Zoe confronts Kelly outside the post office and tells her she knows
about the baby. She asks if Kelly has really thought the abortion
through propoerly. Miss Piggy tells her to keep her nose out of it.

Pollard meets Becky Cairns in the post office and asks if Will has
recovered, since he went home ill from the wine bar. Backy tells him
Will was never ill. Pollard looks thoughtful.

Ned gives Jack a good talking to, and tells him he needs to stand up for
himself with Sarah because "Women don't like crawlers". How right he is.

Tony tools off to Chris Tate's office and demands that the probabtion
service kids be allowed to come to the activity centre. Chris says no
compromise, and says he doesn't want any yobboes and misfits in his
chalets. Tony is angry because he's beginning to run out of money. He
wants to talk to Lady T. but Chris won't let him.

Betty and Lisa try to persude Kathy to go to Mandy's kinky knicker
party, but she has some feeble excuse as always. Betty asks Lisa if
there will be "things" at this party, "you know, THINGS, for the
frustrated".

Pollard tells Dee Will is a skiving little git, but she once more sticks
up for him.

Emma and Lynne's sister (name?) are magically working at the holiday
village, only seconds after saying she will get a part time job. They go
to visit Delilah the horse but she has gone. Emma thinks Tony has sent
her for dogmeat already.

Chris confronts Zoe about Kelly. Zoe is furious about the abortion and
says it's murder.

Tony tries to call the probabtion service off, but they are persisten
and flexible and he's too weak to say yea or nay. During the phone call
Emma bursts in and yells about Delilah. Tony loses it and gets maudlin
and self-pitying.

Butch finds a horse.....

Jan arrives for her visit with her care worker in tow. The care worker
warns Ned that Jan is tense, and to be careful. Ned and Roy have tried
to make a casserole, but between them they manage to knacker the whole
thing. Roy has to go out fo fish and chips, but Jan thinks it's all
rather fun, and just like normal.

Butch takes the horse home. Zak says its a mare and he doesn't want it.
Sam, who is learning to drive on and old car seat in the yard with Zak
as the rear view mirror, spells out H-O-R-S-E. Zak tells him to shut up,
and not to strain himself. Lisa goes to ohone Zoe to see whose horse it
is.

Sarah comes to see Jan. They are just chatting about stuff, and Sarah
complains about Jack. She says a fence needs mending and she asked Jack
to do it. He apparrently told her to do it herself, since she doesn't
need him. Ned chokes into his tea.

Chris tells Zoe the baby is definitely his. She tells him the baby is a
Tate and she wants to keep it.

Tony and Becky turn up at the Dingles to get Delilah back. Zak says its
a pity Butch found it before they had time to offer a reward. The Cairns
off the horse to Butch but Zak says no. Ends up with Tony giving Zak a
tenner for Butch's time and trouble.

Mandy still doesn't want the knicker party, but feels she can't let
people down. I recken its a goer.

Ned congratulates Jack on his treatment of Sarah.

Tony gets his ex-army knickers in a twist about the way Chris Tate
treats him. He say "I haven't begun to fight" whilst gazing slightly
off-camera in a steely, Captain Eagle-Eyes sort of way.

Pollard sweet talks Dee into sharing his bed again. Will comes in and
Pollard tells him to apologise to Dee. He says sorry, but then becomes
abusive. (He still needs a good kicking) Pollard storms ff after him to
sack him.

Paddy asks Steve if Home Farm has any cottages that Outhwaite could live
in since his own doughter doesn't want him. Steve laughs in his face and
tells him Outhwaite isn't Home Farm's problem.

Chrsi sits Miss Piggy down for a grown-up talk. He says he's always open
with her, he's even opened his heart to her. She begins to look ill. He
gets very soppy and tells her he'll be good to her on one condition -
that she keeps the baby.
"You'll want for nothing, ever"

An excellent meander, dear. And necessary for me, since
she had me in the kitchen making pancakes (are those
cries of sympathy I can hear??) while she wrote her notes.

I'm not sure I want to take marital advice off either Ned or Jack!
I prefer the Marlon approach: woo them with stunning cooking ....
