Hello ev'rybody!

I'm trying to figure out some stuff about the "Bringing It All Back
Home"-sessions in
January 1965. Would greatly appreciate some help on this!

According to Olof's Archive there were 2 sessions, one on the 14th and one on
the 15th.
The 14th / Maggie's Farm, On The Road Again, Subterranean Homesick Blues,
Outlaw Blues, Bob Dylan's 115th Dream, If You Gotta Go Go Now,
If You Gotta Go Go Now, I'll Keep It With Mine (instrumental),
and
I'll Keep It With Mine
The 15th / She Belongs To Me, Love Minus Zero/No Limit, She Belongs To Me,
Love Minus Zero/No Limit, Mr. Tambourine Man, It's All Over Now
Baby Blue,
Gates Of Eden, It's Alright Ma (I'm Only Bleeding), and It's All
Over Now Baby Blue

But according to the "Bootleg Series" booklet (see the picture on the inside of
the cover)
there appearently was a recording session on the 13th with the following songs:
(Love Minus Zero/No Limit, I'll Keep It With Mine ,It's All Over Now Baby Blue,
Bob Dylan's 115th Dream, She Belongs To Me, Subterranean Homesick Blues,
Outlaw Blues, On The Road Again, Farewell Angelina, If You Gotta Go Go Now,
If You Gotta Go Go Now, etc.......)
and it also credits "If You Gotta Go Go Now" to the 15th.

And the "Biograph" notes credits the recording of "I'll Keep It With Mine" to
the 14th and
"Subterranean Homesick Blues" to the 15th ("On his 2nd day of work...this song
and nine
others").

We know that there were two versions of "Subterranean..." (both now officially
released) so
there's nothing strange about that.

But there's something happening here...
"The Bootleg Series" says there was a session on the 13th.
"Biograph" credits "I'll Keep It With Mine" to the 14th.
"Biograph" also says that "Subterranean.." was recorded on the 15th, during the
2nd day of
work, in a session that covered 10 different songs.
How can it be the 2nd day? I'm confused! Something must be wrong here, but I
don't know
what it is....

I assume that the album notes ought to be correct, but, after all
(unfortunately(?)) - 'errare human est'

Anyone out there with knowledge (and energy) who would care to comment?

Anyone....

An occasional series:-

Following up my postings on the FW and Basement cross-references here are
some for Times, AS, BiABH and H61.

The reasons for doing these include: Updating Krogsgaard, Dundas etc with
any newly emerged tapes; to provide a CD buyers guide of what is actually
available (and what isn't); a cross-check of Heylin's 'To live outside..'
and Roques 'Great White Answers'; and to indicate which gaps have been
filled in by the two official releases 'Biograph' & 'The Bootleg Series'
