Actually, this is such and important piece of news that I'm publicising it
on my Livejournal.

Until I read that these versions are primarily for the foreign market, I was
going to scream, "Why?!" when the ones they've already done are so resoundly
despised by most fans. Personally, I thought the new version of Holly
they're using, which was also on the Ace Rimmer featurette, looked weird
somehow, like a different Holly, I think because she looked chubbier,
although maybe that was just the stupid effect?? Anyway, I may end up
getting the remastered versions on DVD eventually just for completionists
sake, but I still don't like 'em, and find it unbelievable that they're
actually doing this; it feels like a desperate attempt to milk more money
out of the series, which wouldn't be so bad if they use it to make the damn
movie!

Oh, leave me alone! :) I already had a very embarassed giggly cry to my
hubby over this one for still being such a gullible twat at 35 years old,
particularly when I was given so many clues by the previous replies.... :p

Is the word twat allowed here?
If so my mummy will bar me from this group.

Mind you, how did the Yanks get to use the word fanny for a bum?
There again, they don't know what a "bloke" is ;-)

Cheers

ahhh... my mistake. But I do seem to remember hearing that most of them were
defective... batteries run down too soon or something to that effect.
