Andre,

It is possible to have multiline text in a textbox control.

In design mode right click on the textbox, select Text Box Properties.

On the Display tab check the Wrap Text option then click Apply.

That allows you to enter multiline text by automatically wrapping text
that is too long for the width of the textbox control. That technique,
however, doesn't seem to enable a new line to be created by pressing
Return or CTRL-Return - at least not in the Technical Refresh.

hi Andrej

To achieve multiline for a normal text input, I normally
use Richtext control and disable all formattings except
Paragraph Breaks which must be allowed to enable new line
via the Enter key.

U can set scrolling property to avoid it from auto-growing
in height.

A textbox control can be multi-line using the wrap text functionality but
it will ignore carriage return characters. If you want multi-line data
with carriage returns, you'll need to use the Rich Text control as FooShen
suggested.
