PS. The pixmap transparency works nicely within widgets.

There is a not-yet-on-CPAN module Tk::Icon for using windows .ico
files in tk programs --- with complete transparency information. I
will try to track the author and send some more information.

Here I am. At the moment, there is only german and still incomplete
documentation. But I have to take care of my grandmother for the next
two days where I should have enough time to complete and rewrite the
docu in english ;-)) I will post an URL to download the package when
finished.
(Please apologize my horrible english)

We could run the German documentation through Babelfish
and get something approximating broken English, which might
get someone by in a pinch. It wouldn't be as nice and
clear as a real translation, but in general Babelfish
translations are good enough that one can decipher what
was meant most of the time with a little effort.

Oh, I did it all by hand. But the docu isn't really big. See
