There is a new rumor going around that I, Darrick Evenson, is a
"covenant-breaker". I contacted the Baha'i National Center in Wilmette,
and they responded as usual by not acknowledging my email. So, if any of
you would like to find out I'd appreciate it. I'd like to know.
P.S. Has _The American Baha'i_ had any articles about how the Four-Year
Plan went? Or about if their national media campaign was successful (or
not)? I'm curious.

Before you buy.
Wouldn't this be a great place to start a rumor?

Hmmmm, ya'think Mr. Henderson is handling the email, recognized your
name and just trashed it?
Naw really, sending them email can be just as fast as sending them
snail mail. They'll take some time to get back to you. I guess they
don't want to write the wrong thing, wouldn't want ambiguous remarks to
be the basis of rumors; I'm sure you know how that can get.
Blessings!

I have seen no announcement from the Universal House of Justice
stating that you are a Covenant-breaker. Any such message would be
published in "The American Baha'i" and would be posted on the US
administrative Web site. Indeed, within the last couple of months, I
have recalled seeing two announcements on the Web site that certain
individuals were officially declared to have broken the Covenant.
Your name was not among those mentioned.
Of course, if you're not regarded as a member of the Faith, then you
cannot be regarded as a CB, no matter what.

There have been articles and statements. However, I don't think it
appropriate to discuss the contents of those statements here on an
open forum.

I don't think it is so much organizational membership which is required
but a recognition of Baha'u'llah as the Manifestation of God, coupled
w/ actively undermining the institutions.
However, there is likely another reason why Darrick could not be a
Covenant Breaker, proto, crypto, quasi, or plain old garden variety.

You're welcome. The various Plans within the Baha'i community aren't
really secret, as such. However, there are topics there that aren't
appropriate for discussion in a public forum -- administrative stuff,
etc.
Darrick,
You are not a Baha'i. Why would you expect that the information contained in
documents sent to Baha'is would be openly shared with you? You've shown your
true colors on many newsgroups. We know why you want information about our
community.
We're loving and caring people, but we're not stupid. You'll just have to
accept that fact that there are *some* things that are simply not your
business.
Andrea
You're not just an idiot, you're a FUCKING idiot. That..I think..says
it all.

It says you need to take your lithium. If you are going to lecture about
personal appearance, zip your fly at least. If you are gong to lecture
about spirituality, don't post profanity. Capiche?

As soon as I start claiming spirituality, or being a beacon of it, I'll
take your advice.

So, you claim to have all the answers yet you admit to having no form
of spiritual life. Why should anyone listen to a person who admits to
being spiritually dead?
