>Has "Sweat Dreams" by the Eurythmics (sp?) been re-released recently as a
house mix? >I've heard it a lot lately on the mix shows here in the SF
Bay Area.

O.k., o.k., enough speculation. YES, there IS a house mix, and it came
out in 1991 and is appropriately titled "Sweet Dreams '91" (house mix) on
the c.d. or 12" vinyl. The copies I have (c.d. and vinyl) are both
imports, and I don't think I've ever seen them released domestically. The
cover looks like a picture of the sky with a blurred sun and the lettering
is in white. It's on RCA and the number is PD45032. There are four mixes
altogether on this single: 1. Sweet Dreams '91 (3:33) 2. Sweet
Dreams-Nightmare mix (7:26)
3. Sweet Dreams '91-Hot remix (5:18) 4. Sweet Dreams '91-House mix
(3:33)

This is the track listing for the c.d. single and I think the house mix is
longer on the vinyl.
I actually overlooked this single for 3 years before I finally decided to
buy it and was I glad I did!!

Hey Jim....

Have you gotten your hands on the newer white label. Its not my favorite,
but I figured since we were on the subject of sweet dreams. It's labeled
SWEET on the front.

Have you all heard "Sweeter"; yet another remake of Sweet Dreams without
the vocals. It's out on Underground Construction I believe....
