I just want to inform the "Slocket-users Community" that ASUS
has released microcode updates for the intel Celeron 1.4 GHz CPU
with CPUID#06B4 within following BIOS (some weeks ago):
ftp://ftp.asus.com.tw/pub/ASUS/mb/sock370/sis630/tusc/1018tc04.zip
ftp://ftp.asus.com.tw/pub/ASUS/mb/sock370/sis630et/tusi-m/1018tmn04.zip
For all other mobo, the extracted microcode file (cpucode.exe)
from the bios binary of these two bios will work after being
inserted into a selected bios with the CBROM utility (AWARD BIOS
only!). The old cpucode.exe file has to be removed first!
This is the one way we can do. The cpucode.exe does not correspond
with any mobo data, but contains only the code blocks for the CPU
types, so this is interchangeable indeed if some "strange" CPU is
due to be "announced" to any misc mobo.
There is another possibility to extract and flash the microcode
block into desired bios from which another fellow told me in here
I also tried this method at once and upgraded my P2B for proper use
with an 1.4 GHz Celeron-T with CPUID #06B4 - IT WORKS!) :
