Has anyone on this group noticed how much MTN ripsoff CityTV of Toronto?

It's almost a complete look and feel ripoff... from the "MTN Everywhere"
fillers, to the Citypulse news cast... even the graphics look the
same...

It's been five years since I lived in Toronto, and every day MTN looks
more and more like what CityTV looked like in the late 80's and early
90's. So yes CityTV was first.

Too many of their production staff must have gone to Ryerson.

The Craigs also plan on starting another CityTv/MTN look-a-like in
Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, and Lethbridge called "The A Channel". More info is
available from their Web page. They also want to start
a similar station in Vancouver BC.

I don't mind the CityTv look. I've never lived in/visited
Toronto before, but through MTN, CKY, MuchMusic and Bravo! have a
good idea what CityTv programming looks like.

They have a really cool .mov file of the opening of their
CityPulse newscast on http://www.citytv.com/

True True True

The only difference is that City TV is Way better than MTN. City Tv
has almost mastered local news coverage. It's in depth and provides
stories that Really matter to the local community. Plus their anchors
are better looking.

CITY TV EVERYWHEEEEERRRREEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
