My new Sandisk works great.
My microtech cameramate (and their lousy support) is going in the trash.

saved it to work in OS-9 as a backup---but probably will never use it
again).

My Lexar univeral USB reader handles PCMCIA cards and CF with a PCMCIA
adapter which came with it. It has a separate slot in the bottom for
smart media which works well. I recently bought a smart media camera
with a 128 MB chip. I had been using a CF chip as a way of moving files
to another computer, so I picked up a Fuji brand SM/PCMCIA adapter on
ebay so I could just keep it in the slot of my Pismo (running 10.1.5
and 9.2.2). This adapter doesn't work either direct in the Pismo slot
or through the PCMCIA slot in the Lexar in either system. At first I
thought it was incompatable, but now I suspect that the Fuji adapter is
defective. Anyone have any experience with this type of adapter and
PowerBooks? The CF/PCMCIA adapter works great, not only in USB PBs for
in models as early as the 5300.
