I've given away close to a million free games or credits and this guy
finally comes up with i think i'll give away 5,000 decals no one wants.
You're lucky i let you on this newsgroup.

Alan,

Would you be offended if I took you up on your offer? I currently don't own
a CV but plan on one fairly soon. Also, it'll be a pleasure to do buisness
with you in the future. I've read about your outstanding plastics! Glad to
see true help for the pinball group instead of like that earlier kids rant!

If you're handing out backglasses, please scrape up a black knight repro for
me. I'll send stamps a plenty :)

Alan - if you read this, any chance you may do another run of these? What
minimum # would you need for this to possibly happen?

thanks

Alan,

Thank much. For all of you guys. Recently joined this group and have
seen this kind of kindness over and over again. Everything from
advice, to sending me parts, to stickers. I will return favors when I
get more knowledge. In the meantime, these kind of actions keep a
dying hobbie alive. Without networking, taking care of these pins
wouldn't be half the fun. My wife can't believe how connected all of
you guys are. I will be at Expo and would like to lift a beer or two
in your honor. Then play some pinball.

Excellent Alan!
The only sad part is that if you give away 5,000 of these stickers, 4,999 of
them will probably show up on Ebay next week...

Keep up the great work!

SASE is the cost, that is NOT free. Everyone go ahead and put $5 in in the
envelope too. That way it is not even close to free....

Unfortunately, Scott, there is a difference here. The guy that was
giving away
pinballs was expecting something in return. He was also not true to
his word
about sending them out to those who replied to his free offer within
the deadline.
When I asked why my "free" ball did not show up, he replied "I guess
you'll have to buy one then". Do you think he was picking and choosing
certain people to send them to? Isn't that "special." Not that I'm
bitter or anything :)

What do you want from the guy; it must have cost him +-
$140, & a lot of work to send those samples out.

Of course he wanted something in return..sales.

Nothing wrong with that.

I don't think he was "picking & choosing" just my .02

And I want to publically thank you for helping to keep these wonderful
machines alive Alan. Of course its a for profit venture but you continue
doing it for the obvious love of the game. It is greatly appreciated.
Your attention to detail is exqusite. Your willingness to get it done
right is legend. When mistakes are found you do not hesitate to scrap
the batch and do 'em over till they are right! This is simply the RIGHT
way to do business... ANY business! Keep it going Alan and NEVER give up
the fight! Oh and thanks for the uncut ToM sheet ;) Hey I've bought
plenty of other decals as well as contributed originals for
reproduction. I would do so without hesitation if you ever had a need
for anything I might happen to have. GO ALAN!

Damn Ed, don't scare me like that. :) I thought for a minute I'd screwed
up the post and had to go back and look at my sent mail.

BTW, I do stand on my head and drink beer to get rid of hiccups.
