David Alan Halls of Cambridge U. wrote a very nice PhD dissertation
about a moble code system called The Tube that he designed and
implemented. It is written mainly in Scheme. At one time, I had a
copy of the source, but lost it. Does anybody know how I can obtain
another copy? Is it lying in some Scheme archive? I already looked
at Indiana U.
Thanks and regards,

Thanks,
A search on ResearchIndex
- http://citeseer.nj.nec.com/cs
with "David Alan Halls" as key gives this hit:
but the link to the paper seems no more valid.
Fortunately, thanks to the Tunes project (http://www.tunes.org),
there is a mirror of David A. Hallas web pages and collection
of papers:
- ftp://samaris.tunes.org/pub/food/papers/people/David.A.Halls/index.html
The paper is its doctoral dissertation "Applying Mobile Code to
Distributed Systems", June 1997.
Best regards.
