That's pitty, i was looking for "dust" from the old factory, are a can of
"air" bottled in the factory, no a brick does not interest me... sorry , a
friend of mine is interested in a rusty nail from the back door, someone??

Hell, I'll buy 100 and re-tile my living room floor to give it that "pinball
plant" feel. Yeah that's it...... that's the ticket!

If the seller could provide some documentation that something historically
significant happened directly on top of the brick then I would bid. Pat Lawlor
vomiting on the brick during the production of TAFG would be good for a $10 bid
in my book, assuming there were pictures to prove it. I wouldn't pay $10 for a
brick that just ANYBODY had vomited on...

I agree it is a bit silly auctioning a brick. But to some it might not
be. I think the bricks are very cool. I have 1 on my bookshelf in my
Office. I have given bricks to all of my former colleagues that I can
get my hands on. Most of them thought it was neat too. I thought ebay
was the best way to reach anyone else that would want a souvenir from
the old factory.

I am mostly trying to see what interest there is so I can decide what
to do with my remaining bricks.

depending on how many you have, hopefully a lot, i would suggest this...

sell them for $20 apiece + shipping useing a dutch auction on e-bay with a buy
it now. pocket $10 per brick and donate the other half to the pinball hall of
fame project tim arnold is doing. this way, you make some pocket money as well
as help a good cause. everyone will be off your back and will probably get a
lot of sales in the process for being such a charitable person ; ) if other
people have a lot of them as well, get them on the bandwagon.

(i thought it MAY have been you with the xaq tag and chicago area)

feel free to use my idea, all i ask in exchange is the trick to getting the
"break-through video mode" on sttng ; )

Actually not silly. Though you knew there would be attention here, there are
brick collectors in America. And like all things there are rare bricks, though
I'm not sure where yours are in that field. Got any that don't smell ? Or that
Steve Ritchie stood on ? LTG :)

The problem with wooden floor bricks is that they used them to soak up
all kinds of crap that was being dumped on them. The are often soaked
with oil (PCB based even!), cutting fluid, or who knows what after 50+
years. I knew of one place that used old hydrolic fluid to mop the
floors. It made them "shine" better based on old employees. Yikes!

I wouldn't even throw one of these on the steps of someone I hated!

Steer clear of even thinking about bidding on this.

Well in Dwight's defense, I have a piece of my High School gym floor.
During my senior year vandals broke in and turned the fire hose on in
the gym. Three days later the wood floor warped causing a four foot
high bump that stretched across the basket ball court. When they ripped
up the floor they gave a board to every student. And yes the board has
three nails in it so don't piss me off :)
