yes. Its not that much further from Bergen County. I've been to Newark
Bear games, and I felt totally safe.

Yes, but not as often as now because of the added drive time
and uncertain availability of mass transit to Newark from
Northern Bergen county. If NJ Transit decides to have more
trains on game nights to the Secaucus transfer via the
Bergen main line, and then from Secaucus to Newark fine. But
I don't relish the prospect of waiting an hour for a train
from Newark to Secaucus then another hour for a train to
Northern Bergen county. Since the state has a vested
interest in hindering the popularity of a Newark arena, I
doubt that NJ transit will be making an adjustments in their
thin nightly schedule to accomodate Devils' fans.

Yes, I will be able to take public transportation (Newark City Subway
http://www.nycsubway.org/nyc/newark/ )

I don't know if I'll be able to afford my season ticket renewals at
the new arena, but I will certainly go to at least 10 games.

I'm in the "I don't care as long as I can get there in a reasonable fashion"
group. Since I live in NY, I dont have to deal with all the politics.

So, basically, yes

Are you referring to the NJSEA and assuming that the Continental
Airlines Arena would continue to operate without the 100+ dates of its
current two professional teams? Seems to me that's the big question
mark between a letter of intent and bringing this to reality. If
Xanadu is going to make the spash its proponents expect, and the
stadium and the track continue to do business, it seems they could use
the arena space and would return to either demolishing the arena or
retrofitting it for a different use. Even if the CAA stands and
continues to do shows, I don't picture the state with the
maleviolence to purposefully avoid serving the Newark Arena with
timely trains. Perhaps those more in the know on the project can
throw in their two cents.
