Sue,

We (Spirit) have a camp this weekend. I will try to find out the answer to
your question if I can.

OK, now I've got another stupid question, as I watch the videotape of
the '80 DCI finals telecast. I've heard about the rifle from Two-Seven
who had to miss out because she was hospitalized with appendicitis.
But I remember from back when I marched, and can see it now in the
videotape, that there was a rifle missing from Spirit's line, too. It
seems to me that I remember hearing something about this, but can't
remember what it was. Was there a specific reason why this person was
missing? And another reminder of Jim Ott's death. So sad that that
happened. But what a magnificent sound Spirit made that night! :-)

That would be a good friend of mine's spot. She missed finals in 78,
79, 80, and 81 due to sickness or injury. She finally got to march
finals in her age out year in 1982.

I was thinking it had to do with someone getting hurt or being sick,
but I couldn't remember the exact story. Bless her heart, I'm so glad
for her that she finally got to march finals in her age-out year! :-)
