also know that it isn't true.
humans have lived on this planet, as has everything else for close to 10,000
years. in that time some have been able to control their lusts, and others
haven't. obviously some of you guys haven't. we teens talk about sex because
it is an adult activity (or was) and it makes some people horny. from my
point of view, along with many others, talking about sex is one of the
lowest forms of conversation that exists.
am I right to assume that you also swear? you probably do, although I would
assume that there are people on the group who don't... Just a little insight
into swearing... it is what people do when they can't think of something
intelligent to say, akin to 'like... um... you know" how many times have you
heard or said 'I was like, going to *insert place* when ...um... you know...
the thing... *insert action*.. ya know?'
the majority of our profanity HAS actual definitions, such as Donkey,
illegitamite chil, female dog or fox, and Fornication (or formicator) Under
Cardinal Knowledge.
I guess my base question is, how many regulars ore on this list, and of them
how many are NOT perverts with an IQ in double digits.

I am mearly a teen and not a theologin. I am not a preacher in the refined
sense. although I believe the Old Testement provides a more dynamic picture
of God, the New Testement (from Matthew all the way to Revelation) is a more
personal look at Jesus and how to live a Christian Life. The 'Fire and

Why must there be Sacrifices? Ephesians 2:8-10 says:
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from
yourselves, it is the gift of God-- not by works, so that no one can boast.
For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works,
which God prepared in advance for us to do."
I urge you to look at the context, to see that I am not making this up, or

be made, only that we confess our sins to JESUS, not a priest.

the word Adam is a translation, from the Hebrew word for Man, and Eve from

I see people that swear as unintelligent people who cannot think of anything
better to say. this is reinforced constantly by what I see on this group,
and at school, the TV, movies, friends, teachers etc. the more I intelligent
a person is, the less they swear. that is how it is I nmy 'sphere of
influence' to use a psych term.
one question for you though.. why do you have degree when you are 16,17,
or18? child protegy or pedophile?

I know (hope) you were not attacking me, but it seems to me that
you're calling people that swear (thus, non-religious people)
unintelligent. I think intelligence has absolutely nothing to do with
religion. I'm not religious but still in university. And in my country
people don't enter uni that easily, believe me. What you see in teen
newsgroup (maybe not this one) are teen issues. Some of which I bet
you're dealing with as well. Alt.teens.16-18 might not be a perfect
example, but take, for example, alt.teens. I'm a reg in that ng as
well and it's a grooup of people that really care about eachother.
There really is a .ot of love going on over there.
I suppose you're a teen as well, so you know that teens are not
rotten, even if they do swear.

mean no disrespect, but I did not say that swearing lowers IQ's. only that
the lower the IQ the more people swear, in my experience. Idealize that very
intelligent people swear, and that there are very stupid people that don't.
but my reasoning is that if a person was INTELLIGENT, (not smart, there is a
difference) and articulate (part of intelligence) they would not use word
that have little meaning, if any. Donkeys, female dogs, fortification,
illegitimate children, what ever word strikes your fancy, look at what it
MEANS, by definition, when you say it. then see if you SOUND smart, or like
an idiot
