It just represents the colour of the cleaners knickers when the game was
finally finished.

No one seems to know, though theories have been made about the developer, or
the publisher at least being coded... My USA Games don't have such a thing
though...
I think it's the genre of the game.
Green for starfox and zelda
Brown for Eternal Darkness
I doubt it......
Just looking at my collection....
Green triangles:
Beach Spikers
Pikmin
Res Evil
Zelda
SMB2
Skies Of Arcadia Legend.
(My Mate has Starfox / SMS / Eternal Darkness so cant check them)

My ED has a green triangle. Did you import yours? If so it could be a
regionalisation thing (mine came from Dixons, so presumably it's the UK
version.) All my other games have green triangles, except for Rogue Leader
(which has a brown one.)

The two most common substances in the universe are hydrogen and
stupidity
My ED also has a green triangle, infact all my GC games do.
I got it from cd-wow, and ended up with an aussie one.
Anyone else got aussie games? My only brown-triangled game is Rogue Leader,
I got that from Play so I don't know if it's a UK one or not....
(Suddenly I've realised how absurd this thread is, a discussion of little
coloured triangles. Oh well ;) )

Angular momentum makes the world go round.
All green for me with the exception of Ikaruga (from Gamesplanet) and
Godzilla (from Toys R Us). Both of those 2 are pink.

My Zelda (ex Australia) has a brown triangle. As does my Super Mario
Sunshine (second hand, so no idea where it came from) and 007:Nightfire
(ditto).
My Extreme G3 (new from a New Zealand shop) has a blue triangle.

Absurd nothing. We could talk about talking giraffes, now *that* would
be absurd... :-p

The Cakes Of Wrath <http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/martin_cox/ >
A fantastic comedy tale of a reluctant chef, drawn against his will into a
quest to save the world from an overwhelming army of vicious, ruthless,
man-eating, cream cakes.
Looking at my RL manual, it has a code at the top with AUS in it, whilst my
others have UK on them, so it looks like a regionalisation thing.
I got bored and phoned Nintendo, and the guy on the line
told me it was so people in the warehouse can tell which
games are for distribution in which countries without having
to pull a box out of a huge stack and read the back.

Does it speak English, or Mandarin? Those are the only two languages I
have any fluency in... :-p
