Hi,
Was just reading a thread about duck eggs when aol crashed and took the
messages with it....
The price seems to vary rather wildly, very much as what the market will
bear. I shop in oriental groceries in my area and was shocked to see duck eggs
on sale for $1 PER EGG. There were some gone from the cartons so someone must
have bought some. Orientals are as a rule much more familiar with eating duck
eggs than Americans are. I asked a couple of chinese I know and they said they
liked the duck eggs a lot for cooking, that they eat chicken eggs as is and
save the duck eggs for pastries, etc. When I get the chance I'd like to make a
pen for a dozen Campbell's and see if I can get 4/5$ for dz.
