ANNOUNCE: Icons 1.0 - Icon Library Package

ICONS is a package intended to provide a cross platform icon library
facility for TCL/TK programmers.
While ICONS can be used to create libraries of application specific
icons to simplify distribution, a main aim is to encourage the
production of a "standard" icon library, which could possibly be
included in tklib.
The icon libraries are simple text files, making them easy to create.
Sample Icon Libraries and a utility for displaying the contents of the
libraries are included with the package.
In future: "Equivalent" libraries containing, for example: Windows and
Mac style icons could be used in conjunction with TCL/TK "themes" (being
investigated/developed by others), to give a more platform specific
look.
