it disturbed me quite a bit. And on reflection I think it was the
intense self-examination it lead me to. With the events of 9/11, the
HBO special (didn't see it) has the US now become the world's
supervictim? Do we now have even more right to ignore the problems of
smaller countries. Has the event over-shadowed all the little
supervictims around the country, including Florida? Was there ever a
supervictim artist? (Maybe Elvis Costello after he made a suicide
threat after "Get Happy" came out.)
