The school outing meet at the Woolpack.
Tony Cairns ask the teacher leading the expedition if he has got any
experience of mountaineering/orientation. Tony has volunteered to
assist with the outing.
Tony has a dig at the teacher concerning the state of the ropes they
are to use.

Jack goes to see Sarah.
He tells Sarah he has come to explain about yesterday (i.e. when he
was caught kissing Rachel). Sarah would rather not look at Jack, never
mind speak to him.
Jack apologises, blaming his behaviour on the fact he is a middle aged
man who was attracted to a younger woman.
Sarah is having none of it and tells Jack to go back to Rachel.
Robert comes in and Sarah has the final dig at Jack by telling him
that Robert saw him kissing Rachel, she tells him that he has betrayed
them all and asks, was it worth it?.

Paddy and Zoe are at the Dingle Ranch.
Mandy shouts out of the upstairs window, what's he doing here. Paddy
shouts back that they are there to attend to the pigs.
Mandy shouts to Zoe, well you better see to him (Paddy) then.

Dean, the lad who Tony cairns "beat up" (after Dean tried to sexually
assault Emma), is amongst the school party and he is taking the mickey
out of Will over his fathers presence.

Doug tries to get cathy to take the day off so she can spend time with
him. She tells him she cannot.
Just then rachel comes in.

Steve is lumbered with James.
Tara complains to Steve about the staff at Home Farm and tells him
that Roy has been rude to her.
Tara invites Steve to lunch at the races.
Steve reckons he can use his computer to win on the horses. Tara
challenges him to a contest whereby they both have £1000.00 to bet.
The contest will be to see who can win the most, Tara using her
professional skills and Steve with his computer.

Rachel and cathy are having a heart to heart over Rachels relationship
with Jack.
She wants to go and see Sarah to explain. Cathy doesn't think that's
it's a very good idea and tells Rachel that Sarah has commenced
divorce proceedings.

Jan and Zoe are having a drink in the Woolpack.
Jan is grateful for getting the job as vets receptionist as it makes
her feel closer in spirit to Linda.

Butch, Marlon and Lisa are in the Woolpack playing darts.
Butch is going on about all of the sheila's and sheep in Australia.
He tells marlon he would be OK with the sheep.
Butch thinks transportation was a good idea and wished it still
existed, if it did he would rob a bank.
Lisa tells him that if criminals were still transported to Australia
she would never have met his dad.

Jan tells Zoe that she is glad Sophie has gone.
She tells Zoe that eventually she will meet a nice man and have
children.

Back at the Sugden farm Ned tells Sarah that in time she and Jack will
get back together, they only need time.
Sarah tells Ned about catching Jack and Rachel kissing. Ned cannot
believe it.
Billy has his two pennath and Ned tells him to stop stirring things
up.
Just then Rachel turns up.
Sarah tells Rachel to go away and tells her about her embarrassment at
finding Jack and her kissing in the street where anyone could have
seen them.
Rachel wants to apologise, Sarah grabs Rachel and they both fall to
the ground.
Ned and Billy break them up.
Billy tells Rachel to get lost and Ned tells Billy to button it.

On the school outing Tony is helping with the mountaineering etc.
He tells the teacher that the route for the orienteering exercise is
too risky, telling him that the route passes alongside some cliffs.
The teacher thinks it is OK and is a challenge for the pupils.

Doug has bought some presents for Cathy and Alice.
The present for Cathy is an evening dress.
Cathy tells him that she isn't happy about him buying her stuff.

Tony is on checkpoint duty, checking the pupils in on their
orienteering course.

Billy tells Sarah that she was right to get rid of Jack and Rachel.
Sarah tells him that she cannot never trust anyone again.

Will Cairns, Lynn and Dean are lost and their compass is broken.

Doug tells Cathy that he doesn't want to be a sugar daddy, he simply
enjoys giving people things.
He suggests that Cathy has her hair up.

Tony is still waiting at the checkpoint for Will's team.

Jack goes to see Rachel and tells her he has come to apologise about
the other night.
Jack wants to get together with Rachel properly and tells her that he
has been so alone whilst she's been away.
Rachel tells him that she gave him the chance once before and he chose
Sarah. He only wants her now because Sarah has rejected him.
Rachel asks Jack to leave and she never wants to see him again.
Ned arrives, wondering how Rachel has been.
Rachel tells Jack to leave.
When he has gone she breaks down in tears and Ned comforts her.

Biff apologises to Roy over the Kelly episode and offers to buy him a
drink.
Roy accepts and tells Biff that Kelly only felt sorry for him. Biff
humours Roy.
Roy tells Biff that he and Kelly are an item.

Zak, Lisa and Butch are in the Woolpack.
Lisa and Butch are trying to fins out where Zak is working.

Paddy and Zoe come in to the Woolpack. Mandy gives Paddy an earful.
Zoe interrupts and mandy tells her "Shut it bambi"
The Dingles manage to scrounge their drinks from Zoe.

Will's team are definitely lost and its getting dark.
Will tells Lynn and Dean that they will have to find shelter for the
night.
Dean tells them he is going to keep walking and wanders off.
Dean then disappears down the side of a hill/cliff.

Rachel and Ned go for a drink in the Woolpack.
Turner asks Ned if Jan knows he is entertaining a young lady. Ned has
a go at Turner reminding him about Jo and telling him to mind his own
business.

Steve and Tara are having a drink in the Woolpack.
They are joined by Zoe. The talk changes to james and Zoe offers to
help out with the babysitting.
Steve and Tara tell Zoe about their betting competition.

Will and Lynn, having heard Dean's scream go in search of him. They
find him unconscious.

And that's how it ended.
