[Sith War 2002] The Lost War

After settling his score with the former Sith War Goddess, Steve had
the iShip repaired and they continued on to Sith War IV. One of his
captains spoke up, "Sir, there's a planet out there!" Steve looked
pleased, "I knew it! Put the ship in orbit so we can investigate this
sith war." The ship approached what appeared to be the site of a
terrible battle. Around the planet was a ring of Sith War debris,
cryochambers, cloning tanks and the like.

The planet itself appeared to be intact, yet only as a wasteland,
devoid of anything living. "Wow, this was a great Sith War wasn't it?"
Steve asked to no one in particular. Noticing the blank looks on his
officers' faces, he got annoyed. "Well it was! Even if you weren't
around to see it!" The officers just nodded and thought to themselves
what an old guy this gungan must be. Getting more annoyed, Steve
exclaimed, "It was only a few years ago, not a century or something!
Sheesh!"

Moving along...the iShip was now in high orbit, in order to avoid most
of the debris field. "Sir! We've picked up some a large object coming
our way! It looks like another ship!"

"What? No one else knows we're out here! Put it on the monitor." The
main viewing monitor flickered to life showing a large cube-like
object approaching the iShip." "Wha!? This isn't Star Trek! What the
Hell is a Borg ship doing here?!"

A cybernetic face suddenly filled the viewing screen. The hive mind
spoke dully, "We are the Throng. Lower your shields, your weapons are
useless."

Steve wasn't impressed. "Like Hell! I'm not going to give you my ship
you sorry piece of mechanics! You'll have to do better than that." The
Throng ship did, by suddenly firing it's weapons at the iShip.

He had an idea. "Wooah wooah there! Let's not be too hasty, ok? I'm
sure we can make some kind of a deal?" The hive mind spoke, "There is
nothing you have that we cannot simply take. Surrender your ship,
NOW." Steve knew she'd fallen into his verbal web, "Ah yes, nothing I
have HERE, but I do have a whole planet you can take over!" The hive
mind contemplated this. "Very well. Lead us to your planet and we will
join forces with you."

"Great! Before we leave, I just need to send a team down to the
surface of that planet there. Oh yah and can I call you something
else? Hive mind sounds a bit weird."

The hive mind thought a bit, trying to recall some shred of its former
distinctiveness. "I am called....tmarie."

SUMMARY

Steve found Sith War IV and is going down to the planet to do some
investigating.
The Throng has entered the Sith War and allied with Steve.
