Zoe complains to Paddy about not getting a message that a farmer
needed her services. They agree that Jan must go but cannot bring
themselves to tell her.
Just then Jan turns up.
Paddy tells her that Biff has left Emmerdale.

Ned is complaining to Sarah about Billy scivving off on the sick.
He asks if he should get Jack to help out.

Zak and Barry are back in business and tell a Big Issue seller to
clear off from their pitch.

Steve warns Kelly about her time keeping.
Kelly flirts with him, asking if he will give her free driving
lessons.

Tara ask Steve to settle the wager that she won.

Marlon and sam are on their way back from France with the booze.
Marlon is sick of Sam wanting to stop to go to the toilet.

Butch and Roy see the tramp in the woods and chase after him.

Zoe is getting complaints from clients, wrong bills etc having been
sent out by Jan.
She tells Jan off but Jan doesn't think its her fault and ignores Zoe
by changing the subject.

Andy is in the caravan looking for food.
He finds the Staffordshire ornaments hidden away.
Ned turns up at the caravan and asks where Billy is.
Andy tells Ned that he doesn't know where his dad is.

Roy and Butch track the tramp down to the abandoned van.
Butch complains that his family are getting the blame for nicking milk
etc when it is the tramp doing the stealing.
The tramp tells Butch that Brenda his pig is ill and needs help.
Butch rushes off to see his pig.

Turner wants to put Christmas decorations up in Emmerdale but cannot
get funds from the local business's.
Steve and Tara agree to pay for the decorations.

Andy sneaks into the Sugden's to put the ornaments back. he is caught
by Sarah.
Andy takes the blame and confirms that Jack had nothing to do with the
theft.
He tells Sarah that he needed money to buy his dad a Christmas
present.

Zoe tells Jan that things aren't working out and that Jan is only
causing trouble with he business.
Jan gets uppity, Zoe tells her to get her coat, she is sacked.

Sarah gets Jack to come round.
Sarah and Andy apologise to Jack for him getting the blame for the
theft.
Jack tells Andy its wrong to steal.
Andy doesn't want them telling Billy.
Sarah and Jack agree not to tell anyone.

Paddy goes to see Butch's pig, Brenda.
The pig has collapsed with salt poisoning caused by Butch not giving
the pig enough to drink.

Eric, Dee and Cathy are discussing doing something special at the wine
bar for Christmas.
Alice comes in with Doug and announces that she is going to have a
party in the wine bar.
Doug explains that he is willing to pay for a party for all of the
children in the village.

Marlon stops the van and tells sam to get out and go to the toilet.
Sam tells him he doesn't want to get out.

Jan and Ned are in the Woolpack.
Jan is going on about being sacked by Zoe.

Zak tries to get Paddy not to charge for tending to Butch's pig.

Back at the van, Billy and his mate arrive to hijack the van.
Marlon tells Billy that there is a problem because Sam won't get out
of the van.
Sam gets out and is set upon by Billy's mate. Marlon tries to help Sam
and gets a punch in his stomach for his trouble.
Sam is unconscious.

And that's how it ended.
