Letter from John's family

'HEY John, can we have our photo taken with you?' was
the all- too- often common request and, until
recently, the avenue to capitalise did not exist.
Strippers, sex orgies and drugs - is there anything
possible left to accuse John Entwistle of The Who of?
It's a shame that people who met John for only five
minutes assume they knew him well.
John enjoyed a good joke and adored science fiction,
but fiction had no place in his life or ours.
As I sit with John's mother, his son and John's
girlfriend, no words of condolence can take away the
pain or express our emotions.
One thing's for sure - if anyone, including John, knew
he had a heart condition, he would be with us today.
For the loved ones, true friends and fans, one wish
stands alone: rest in peace, with our love.
