Sophie is in tears as Zoe has gone off on holiday without her.
She tells Betty that Zoe's gone off as Zoe wanted a baby and she
didn't. Sophie tells Betty that she doesn't think it right for a child
not to have a father.
Sophie tells Betty she doesn't care who knows. Betty agrees with
Sophie that its not a good situation in which to bring up a child.
Linda walks in and hears what Sophie is saying. She tells Sophie that
she should have kept the baby story private.

Jo moves into the spare room at the Woolpack.
Jo tells Alan that there is no need to sell the pub and that he should
get terry to look after it whilst they are in America.
Turner tells Jo he is sick of the hassle involved in running a pub and
wants to be out anyway.

Betty tells Cathy the story about Zoe wanting a baby. Betty doesn't
know how two lesbians could manage to make a baby.

Doug apologises for not turning up at Cathy's. He had an unexpected
meeting with a Japanese businessman.

Marlon is pestering Dee to allow him to make a meal with baby
kidney's. He tells her that catering is a form of show business.
Dee tells him he isn't a chef, he is the kitchen hand.

Rachel goes for a job interview at the school. The job is for a
secretary. She gets a hard time from the existing secretary.

Betty calls marlon a stupid pillock.

Doug wants to take both Alice and Cathy out for a burger.
She agrees but then Dee asks her to work that night as Eric is ill.
Doug asks if he can take Alice on her own.

Ned has a chat with Biff in the Woolpack and tells him about the noise
that he and Linda are making at night.

Jo moves her stuff into the Woolpack and Mandy tells Turner he is
lining in sin. Turner tells everyone in the bar that Jo is staying in
the spare room.

Biff, Linda and Betty discuss Zoe's problems in the pub. Biff and
Betty agree that it isn't natural for two lesbians to have children.
Betty wants to know who the father would be.

It appears that Eric, Ned and Roy have all gone down with a mystery
illness, they were of course all at the promotion in the wine bar last
night.

Biff tells Linda about his conversation with Ned.

Terry turns up.

Paddy turns up to the delight of Mandy.

Terry tells Turner that he lost everything when he and Vic were
mugged.
Turner tells Terry that he is going to sell the pub.

Vic turns up and tells Viv that he and Terry were mugged by a gang of
10. Vic has a black eye and is receiving loving care from Viv.

Paddy asks Linda if Mandy is seeing anyone else.

Chris and rachel are talking about her job interview and it looks as
though Chris is going to ask rachel back. Just as he's about to say
something Jack turns up.

Paddy tells Linda that he would volunteer to father Zoe's child.

Viv continues to fuss over Vic.

Sarah is waiting for Jack to come back. When he arrives he tells her
he has been to Ned's. (he's really been to Rachel's).
Sarah tells Jack he will have to get the kids tea as she is going to
call on Andy and Billy's. She is also going round to Rachel's to find
out how she got on with the job interview.

Turner tells Terry that he has the first refusal on the sale of the
pub.

Mandy complains about Paddy not keeping in touch with her. She agree
to go out for a meal with him.

Sarah finds out that Billy has been sacked from the job at the farm.
The farmer doesn't know where they have gone.
The farmer tells sarah that he couldn't get a good days work out of
Billy and that things had disappeared.

Biff and Linda go to a lovers lane for a kiss and a cuddle in the
mini.
Biff tells Linda that they can make as much noise as they like because
there is no one within 2 miles. They wont be disturbed.

Sophie turns up in the Wine Bar with a man.#

An officer from Skipdale Requirements Health Department turns up at
the Wine Bar.

Biff thinks there is a prowler outside the car so he open the door and
hits the voyeur.
Oops it turns out it was a policeman looking in to see what was going
on.

Back at the Wine Bar the Environmental Health officer tells Dee and
Cathy that a number of people have fallen ill after eating at there.
Marlon suggests it was the prawns.

Biff argues with the policeman, calling him a pervert.
Biff is arrested.

And that's how it ended.

Cheers
