As another person said before in this list, i'm trying to execute your
example to solve the problem with the proxy, but it still uses the
GoogleAPIDemo.class in the googleapi.jar file, so it doesn't work and
I don´t know how to solve it.Wouldn't I need the new .class file to
replace the old one in the googleapi.jar?how can I get the .class file
from the .java?

I just published a new version of the patch at
http://www.chanezon.com/pat/google_proxy_patch.html that includes this
file and will solve your problem.

Hi Patrick,

I've converted the WSDL file to Java files.

Now I have the same problem that I am behind a proxy and I always get
a time out.
I tried to find something similar in the generated files like the
things you describe in your patch, but can't find them.
Have you already tried to generate java files from the WSDL? If you
know where to change something to come throug the firewall, please
tell me.

Thanks
Claudia

Claudia,
it depends on the SOAP toolkit you use.
Usually SOAP toolkits have APis that let you specify a toolkit for
your connection object.
You should find these in the javadoc for your toolkit.
If you use apache SOAP, just use the calls I've added.
Axis may have a different way of specifying proxy (using env
variables).
