The London Science Museum has now posted details of this:

http://www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/on-line/lordoftherings/index.asp

Incidently, it costs about three times as much to get in as it did in
Wellington:-(

I may look in on this thread again before it is all over, but in
the meanwhile I have some other pressing business to attend to.

London is always expensive - wish it had been coming up here
to Edinburgh - I *hate* London!

However I am sort of planning to visit in October.

(despite the fact I hate London)

Last film type exhibition I visited was in Edinburgh, Star Trek NG many
years ago, I'd visit up there but not in London.

Oh, maybe we met then - I was one of the costumers who got
free entrance in return for *decorating the sets* for special
evenings, and some stewarding at the James Doohan
signings. That was a great exhibition!

Me too - bloody southerners: why do they get all the good stuff?! They
won't appreciate it anyway on account of how much it costs them to
travel, live, eat, talk to their neighbour...
;)
Now, if it went to Newcastle, on the other hand...

Yeah, I think once I've finished my MA *I* might find myself straying
that way too...

Things are expensive in London because so many people want to live in that
wonderful city.

Prices are low there?

And many more *don't* - you should see how many refugees
from the Big Smoke we get here in Auld Reekie!

Apparently it's the night-clubbing capital of the UK.

(and has a terrific shopping centre)

Newcastle, isn't that where one of the harbours to the continent is? I think
I've been there. Totally uncomprehensible speech, right? I saw two guys hit
each other on the head. The drunken one dropped his walkman. One of the
spectators dashed forward and stole it. Weird place.

Greetings, T.

Yep, there is a ferry from Newcastle - but there are
lots of other ferry ports, including Rosyth.

Way aye man - but then you could say the same of Rosyth ;-)

That could also have been Rosyth <g>

LOL!
Yup, that's Newcastle. You obviously had a quiet time of it...
