Has anyone heard about this?
I just saw a "crawl" on CNN mentioning something
along the lines of "The Kentucky State Fair has cancelled
its annual pipe tobacco smoking contest."

Oh, what a shame. Everybody has to jump on the bandwagon. Sorry to say
this, but Texas is going after snack foods in schools, and I don't know if
they are raising smoke nazzis there, but it wouldn't surprise me. And I
thought Texans were more independent thinkers than that. I also expected
more of Kentuckians. June

Me too! I was born in Kentucky. Oh well, the mountain area that I am from is
still very independent and populated by free thinkers. The bigger cities go
first I guess.

Even the tobacco states are caving in. The Gov. of Virginia yapping about
raising tobacco taxes. The last of the old south holdouts. I imagine the
legislature will give him a hard time. They still be one feisty bunch.
