love those ball savers eh KME? ; )
you reap what you sow ; )

i think i had the fastest single ball, no flips, no fighting chance. i was
getting deep in the game,(one of my extra balls on ball 2) and i thought, hey,
i'll just plunge the ball right to the flipper. (the game will throw you out
another ball if you don't hit a swith and it would allow me to get control
quickly. so, i let er rip...

first plunge, straight out the entrance to the shooter lane, triggers the
outlane switch, ball over, lesson learned : (

note to KEF-damn, wish i had that super skill shot to save me ; ) maybe for an
extra ball? a special? naw, i hate all that stuff, justice served! : )

although, some special quote would have sent me over the edge ; )

During on game, first ball I think, I drained immediately and the

Keith, you're just saying that to make the rest of us feel bad. Most
of us will never be able to touch that score. The best I was able to
muster was about 10-15 second ball times with about 1.5M score.
Sheesh, talk about an ego-maniac. JR.

At the Acton Bowladrome the other night, I was feeling pretty good at being
able to post a 34M game (after my obligatory 100K ball drain games).
Thinking that I was eligible to post that *somewhere* on the high score
credits, imagine my surprise when I saw that someone with the initials "BEK"
had already carved out all of the high scores, with the Grand Score topping
399M.

??!! $399M ??!! The man is a menace... :-)

Who about "Itchy" proclaiming "Jackpot!"? Or "Homer" telling you to "Keep
'em coming", after depositing the first coin for 1/2 credit? The sound
bites on this machine are just great, and the team should be congratulated
for the creativity that they used in applying them.

Actually, which reminds me of a question for Keith if he's reading - who is
responsible for the scripting of these lines? Just the Stern team, or did
Groening's staff contribute some script/ideas as well? I assume that the
project team is solely responsible for the placement?

I *love* the Itchy "Jackpot" quote! It's _perfect_! The first time I heard
"*Super* Jackpot" from Itchy, I damn near burst something; the inflection was
magnificent!

Then I'm not responsible for what happens when you hear "double super
jackpot". :)

To answer Todd's question, the speech was all done by me and a Second
City writer we've used on occasion who was very familiar with The
Simpsons as well. It all had to go through the approval process, but
they didn't really write any of it.

Thats the beauty of pinball... anyone can be beaten at any time. Especially
emabarrasing when losing to my brother while trying to show him how to play
it.

Keith,

It sounds like you've got a winner with this pin. I can't wait to play it!
