This was on the pre-school board tonight:

well, it finally happened. Live365 shut me down. Funny how it happened the day after some dickhead went crazy posting the feed's address all over the place. Here is the email I got from them:

oh, and let me leave you with a quote:

How pathetic is it that you post addresses of Opie and Anthony feeds
that anybody who has half a brain in their skulls already knows?

The person who runs the Sblueman feed posts as Sblueman, advertises
his feed in his posts: http://www.opieanthony.com/whois.cfm/MemID/1304
, and has a website that tells you where you can get the feed:
http://www.geocities.com/tecmosuperbowl2001/SBlueman_Radio.html .

Plus he posts the address EVERY TIME a newbie asks how he can listen
to the show.

You are all a bunch of tools that aren't breaking any news. If it was
to be shut down, it would've been shut down ages ago."

Yeah, so no telling what actually caused him to get shut down.  He said himself that HE  was the idiot who started posting his feed address all over the place.

Can someone please help shut down this feed:

http://pandora.next-net.net:8000/listen.pls

I don't know how it would get shut down, though. All it does is just
broadcasts a show for a company that really doesn't like it's shows
streamed. But send a letter to Karmie, and maybe it'll happen.

I looked for those OnA feeds and, as far as I know, all mentions
were yanked from UseNet (inc this NG).

Could be mistaken, though.

The keyword in SU is "underground."

Having never heard OnA, but being a pro-underground kind of guy, I
would suggest cooling the OnA 12'- sharks. According to Nova, they're
unpredictable.

I just did a reset of my news messages and all previous refs to those
servers came up again, so Cox at least kept the messages.

They serve a lot of folks news, so....
