DataVision is an Open Source reporting tool similar to Crystal Reports.
Reports can be designed using a drag-and-drop GUI. They may be run, viewed,
and printed from the application or exported as HTML, XML, PDF, LaTeX2e,
DocBook, or tab- or comma-delimited text files. The output files produced
by LaTeX2e and DocBook can in turn be used to produce PDF, text, HTML,
PostScript, and more.
Changes:
* Moved images into new images directory so there are no external file
dependencies when building.
* The Group item of the Insert menu is now always enabled. There is no
reason to disable it.
* The strings that are used to fire menu items in designer windows are now
read from the menu resource bundle instead of being hard-coded.
Bug fixes:
* Swing report pages should display properly when using Java 1.4. The
scroll bars still jump around a bit, though.
* A bug prevented the Field Picker window from opening when editing a
report that reads from character-separated files.
* Removed a possible null pointer exception when reading tables' columns.
* Fixed PDF page footer layout bug, thanks to runako.
