Announcing: BuFRS 0.1.1 (Beta-version)

BuFRS is an internet-capable formcenter and document archive.
All documents are stored as TeX in a database (MySQL) and
are accessible with a normal web-browser.

Arbitrary TeX-documentclasses can be uploaded.
Binary files both in classes and documents can be used and are also
stored in the database. PDF and Postscript can be generated on the fly
(this is done by calls to PDFTeX/LaTeX).
Full-text-search is available as well as indexed search.
Which documentfields are to use for indexing is to define
at runtime.

The Java-object representing the TeX-document contains
not only the document-content but also all available
documentfields of the appropriate TeX-class with
arbitrary default-values.

BuFRS is a 100% pure Java application, and is free for private,
non-commercial use (the web-user-interface, all servlets,
is open source anyway).

Because of the wide variety of systems i would very much
appreciate if one could find time to test this beta-version and send
me comments or fill the testreport available at my website.
