Wanted to preserve a fresh carrot muffin, but was going to bed and feeling
really lazy, didn't want to take the type to wrap it syran rap or
anything...put it on a plate, inverted a glass over it. Tada, it just fit
and kept the muffin away from ant and air.

http://www.wackyuses.com/uses.html has a ton of hackish things, mostly of
the "odd uses for household products" type. Some are kind of interesting.
The list of three experiments banned from "The Mad Scientist Handbook" are
kind of interesting as well, http://www.wackyuses.com/banned.html

I'm trying to learn how to program an Atari 2600...man, that's not easy,
especially since I have to to learn 6502 Assembly as well, after only
having had a touch of Solaris assembly back in school, 7 or 8 years ago.
And the Atari is just so weird, with only one horizontal line of screen
memory at a time, so the chip has to spend all its time baby sitting the
display.

I'm looking fo an antispam service that I can hook up to my crappy
homebrew webmail system. Ideally I'd like to make it so my script (hosted
on rental webspace) forwards all mail (except that with a special To: line
"password") to this account, and then this account forwards all the
nonspam back to that special To: line)

Hmm, I was thinking I would really need an easily automatable "whitelist"
feature based on mail I send out, but I guess I could do that processing
before forwarding it on.

Anyway, any suggestions?

BAR JOKE #11 A man walks into a bar. He has a few drinks and chats with the
bartender. Later that night, he goes home and reflects on the poor decisons
he's made in life.
