Billy goes to see Eric and offers him the chance of buying some cheap
booze.
It turns out that when Billy was working for Longman he was asked to
hide the booze pending the raid by the Police.
Billy tells Eric that the liberated booze consists of single malt
whiskey and not the dodgy vodka.

Butch starts work at Home Farm, closely supervised by Roy Glover.
Roy is taking advantage of the situation by letting Butch do the work.

The Cairns are still arguing over Jerrie.
Tony tells Emma that they want to adopt Jerrie but Emma won't agree.

Doug goes to see Cathy with an apology, he holds up a white
handkerchief and asks for a truce.
He explains that by decorating her house he was only trying to please
Cathy.
Cathy retorts that she is not a kept woman.
They finally agree that Doug's men will finish off the decorating and
Cathy will pick up the bill.

Jack lets Sarah know that he has sacked Billy for interfering in their
business.
Sarah tells Jack he had no permission to sack Billy. Jack informs
Sarah that he will not have Billy back at the farm. Sarah tells Jack
"we'll see about that".

Sarah goes to see Billy at his caravan.
She tells Billy that he had no business talking to Jack about their
marital problems. She asks Billy to come back and work at the farm.

Sam is removing spare parts from a vehicle which is hidden in some
bushes.

Will and Emma have a chat about Jerrie, Will wants Emma to tell their
parents who the child's father is so that they won't adopt Jerrie.

Butch and Roy go to the Woolpack. Roy convinces Butch that its
traditional for the new boy to buy the drinks.

Terry asks Butch what the smell on him is. Butch tells Terry that its
horse manure rather than the usual pig poo smell.
Butch informs Terry that it is the smell of success and he is on his
way up in the world.

Jack is talking to Ned in the Woolpack about Billy sticking his nose
into his and Sarah's business.
Ned tells Jack that he is sick of hearing about his problems and he
feels as though he is a pig in the middle.

Sarah is still talking to Billy in his caravan. She tells him that
there are very few people that she can now trust. She wants Billy to
come back and work on the farm.

Billy and Sarah come back to the farm and are met by Ned.
Ned tells them that Jack will do his nut when he finds out that Billy
is back.

Butch tells Zak that he is enjoying working at Home Farm.
Zak starts to pick on Butch and Lisa tells him to leave Butch alone.
Zak tells Lisa that he won't be spoken to like that in his own home.
Lisa tells to him to go outside then.

Paddy asks Sophie if Zoe has said anything about how she will run the
business when she has the baby. Sophie doesn't know.

Jack comes into the farm kitchen.
Sarah tells him he isn't welcome and tells him to wash his hands and
go.
Jack tells her he will go when they have their tea.
Just then Billy comes in, Jack say "what the hell".

Doug leads Cathy and Alice into the house with their eyes shut.
Cathy is well pleased with the decorating.
Alice asks if Doug is going to move in with them.

Back at the Sugdens farm Jack accuses Sarah of playing games, using
the farm against him.
Jack storms off telling Sarah that he won't be back, he is resigning
and she will have to run the farm herself.

Betty tells Terry and Mandy about Zoe having a baby by artificial
insemination.
Terry tells her that she need not have bothered as he would have
helped her out for nowt.

Lisa accuses Zak of being a scivver and not pulling his weight.
Zak tells her that he will ensure there is plenty of food and presents
for Christmas.
Lisa has found out that workers are needed for a local link road which
is being built and wants Zak to find work there. Zak tells her he is a
free man.

Zoe and Sophie talk about who is going to look after the baby when it
arrives.
Zoe tells her that she will look after the baby in the evenings and
sophie in the day time.
Sophie isn't happy about having to sacrifice her career.

Biff is in the wine bar and aplogises to Cathy for his behaviour the
previous night. Cathy is sorry for having to have kicked him out.

Biff,Roy, Kelly and her friend are in the wine bar having a drink.
Kelly fancies Biff and her mate fancies Marlon.
Roy asks Biff if he thinks he has any chance with Kelly.

At the Cairns the arguments over Jerrie persist.
Will doesn't want his parents to adopt Jerrie as it will be a constant
reminder to Emma of the biggest mistake she made in her life.
Will lets it slip that if it wasn't for Emma getting pregnant, Charlie
would still be at home.

Tony asks the kids what the reason for Charlie leaving was. He wants
the truth.
He asks Emma who the father of Jerrie is, Emma tells him it was a foot
soldier in his regiment.
She eventually tells him it was Greg, Charlies boyfriend.

And that's how it ended.
