A lot of very good fixes have landed and we need the
weekend and Monday to test/shake them out on the branch.
A total of 83 bugs have been fixed since RC2  including 8 topcrash bugs,
an assortment of other crash, hang and dataloss that have
been occurring under some obscure circumstances.  Some additional
api freezing work has been completed as well.

Anyone with cycles to help can download a recent 1.0 branch build
and assist in testing out the recent changes.  A list of the key areas
and bugs that need testing and comment to help verify on the branch
can be found below.

or builds from tomorrow morning will be good to help test too.

There are a few key fixes listed on bug 143200 that need
to get landed. We are getting real close to the completion
of all the known bug fixing work and hitting zero bugs.

There is also a large backlog of request that have come in
that we need to read through and identify any recent critical
regressions out of that that pile of bugs before we are ready
to make the final call on RC3 on Tuesday next week.

We are getting very close to producing some great software.
Thanks for your help.

I am on a iMac under MAC OS X 10.1.4 with Mozilla build 2002022005.
Could we have a date when the Windows Media Player Plugin will work
under Mozilla ??? I hope it will be soon. Thank you.

I know this is not your speciality, but to my mind, the inability of Netscape
or Mozilla to automatically setup plug-ins is a major headache.
