There is no need to post to
more than one of the major Excel groups -- you just make things
more difficult for those who try =to help and for those who search
for their own answers at
http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search?q=group:*Excel*
also take a look at xlnews.htm, posting.htm on my site.

I've written an Excel add-in "Thesaurus for Excel" that provides the Word
thesaurus features.
It also provides a one click ability to list synonyms or antonyms on the
spreadsheet.
It adds a menu item to the Tools menus just below the "Spelling..." item.
If you would like to give it a try, I would be glad to email it to you.

Could you attach this addin here so anybody can download.
steven
It is my understanding that attachments are viewed with suspicion on public
newsgroups, especially this one. If I could get past chapter one of "Front Page
for Dummies" then I would put up my own site. I am sending the Thesaurus for
Excel program to you via email.

It uses Windows API calls, so it should be lots of fun <g>!
